The engineering of the “autotractor” Cal. 975 movement is equally accomplished, as one would expect from a manufacture as distinguished as JLC, with the quick-set time zone synchronised to the date and shown by a lovely skeletonised central hand. In a clever trick, this hand can be made to “disappear” when it's not required – if set to the same time as the main display, it is nicely covered by the beautiful “alpha” hour hand.
